Description: Unfortunately, error trapping is one of those areas in Visual Basic that is often ignored or underestimated. It is amazing how often Visual Basic developers omit this area of development only to suffer through many hours of needless debugging. In this session the SFDDG's own David Silverlight will be demonstrating some techniques essential to creating robust Visual Basic applications. Some of the issues that will be covered are:

• Proper generic error handling structures
• Dealing with Null database values
• How do third party tools evaluate
• Pros/Cons of creating your own error handling objects
